Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon By-Laws<\/strong><\/h2>\n

ARTICLE I <\/strong>– Membership Dues<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Membership dues shall be in the amount of fifteen dollars ($15.00) annually and shall be
\npayable by August 1 of the new membership year which shall be from July 1 though
\nJune 30. In addition, there shall be a one-time initiation fee of fifteen dollars ($15.00).
\nNew membership will be prorated at an amount of one dollar ($1.25) per month.<\/p>\n

Payment of said dues shall provide admittance to all members of a family\/household
\nto all Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon meetings and activities. It shall allow voting
\nprivileges for a primary member and one of the following: spouse or companion.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE II<\/strong> – Meetings<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Section 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual meeting of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon for the purpose of
\ninstalling officers and transacting such other business as may come before it, shall
\nbe held at a time and place to be determined by the officers and membership.
\nThis sets the terms of officers.<\/p>\n

Section 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meetings of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon other than the annual meeting
\nprescribed in these By-Laws, shall be held at a time and place to be determined
\nby the officers and membership.
\nARTICLE III – Voting<\/p>\n

Section 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In all meetings of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon, each adult member in
\ngood standing whose current dues are paid shall be entitled to one vote. At each
\nmeeting, the club membership shall be the sole and exclusive judge of the
\ncredentials and qualifications of its members.<\/p>\n

Section 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elections are held annually at the December meeting. Officers are voted on by
\nqualified members present and voting.<\/p>\n

Section 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nominations shall be made from a current membership list at the November
\nmeeting. The Secretary assembles a ballot containing the names of the nominees
\nfor each elected office and an additional space for a write-in, if so desired by
\nthe voting members.<\/p>\n

Section 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A quorum shall consist of all members present and voting.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE IV – Duties of Officers<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Section 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

President:<\/strong> The President shall be the chief executive officer of the Rollin’ Oldies
\nCar Club of Lebanon; the President shall preside at all meetings of the Rollin’
\nOldies Car Club of Lebanon; The President shall see that all orders and resolutions
\nof the annual meeting or other meetings of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon
\nare carried into effect and shall be personally responsible for the functioning of
\nall committees, to delegate any specific powers except as may be by statue
\nspecifically conferred upon the President to any other office,officers or members
\nof the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon. The President shall, in addition to the
\nforegoing specific powers and duties, have the general powers and duties of
\nsupervising management and interpretation of policies usually invested in the
\noffice of President of a corporation.<\/p>\n

Section 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vice President<\/strong>: in case death, resignation, the permanent removal of the
\nPresident from the State of Oregon, or his\/her temporary absence, the Vice
\nPresident shall perform and be vested with all the duties and powers of
\nthe President.
\nThe Vice President will also be responsible to head a committee to review all
\nrequests for Grants-Scholarships and Donations received by the Club. The
\nVice President will appoint 3 members from the club to assist him. This
\ncommittee will make appropoiate recommendations to the membership for final
\ndecision twice a year. This will be during the April and November club meetings.<\/p>\n

Section 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Secretary:<\/strong> The Secretary shall attend all meetings of the Rollin’ Oldies Car
\nClub of Lebanon, and make a record of all their proceedings; conduct such
\ncorrespondence of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon as the President
\nmay designate, maintain an updated membership list as necessary and distribute
\ncurrent lists to members at intervals deemed appropriate.
\nSection 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Treasurer:<\/strong> The treasurer shall keep the financial records of the Rollin’ Oldies Car
\nClub of Lebanon and report to the membership such records at each regular
\nmeeting; receive, and disburse all funds of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon as
\nnecessary to keep commitments current; and such other duties as are commensurate
\nwith the office.<\/p>\n

Section 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sergeant-At-Arms:<\/strong> The Sergeant-At-Arms shall be responsible for proper behavior
\nof members at all gatherings of the club. He\/she may levy fines not to exceed
\ntwenty-five cents ($0.25) per offense at meetings, as well as other necessary
\ndisciplinary actions.<\/p>\n

Section 6<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cruise-master:<\/strong> The Cruise-master shall be directly responsible for all tours of the
\nclub, whether chaired by the Cruise-master or delegate for the month. The
\nCruise-master shall maintain observance of all traffic laws of the State or County
\nwhere a tour takes place. It shall also be the duty of the Cruise-master to determine
\nthat each vehicle on any club tour is insured for property damage, medical coverage,
\nuninsured motorist and any other coverage required by Oregon law. The Cruise-master
\nshall also police the spacing of cars on the roads so that other traffic has a sufficient
\nroom to pass as needed. The Cruise-master shall also, before each tour begins moving,
\nassemble all drivers to outline the route and destination to be taken so that no one becomes
\nlost. The Cruise-master shall also adjust the speed on tours to insure that slower cars are
\nnot damaged by being over-driven.<\/p>\n

Section 7<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Historian\/Photographer<\/strong>: The Historian\/Photographer shall keep and maintain a scrapbook
\nof the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon activities. The scrapbook shall include pictures
\nand any other related documents that are pertinent to the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon
\nand associated functions. The compiled scrapbooks are to be made available for viewing
\nby the membership on a quarterly basis at the March, June, September, and December
\nclub meetings.<\/p>\n

Section 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Newsletter Editor:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0 The Newsletter Editor shall maintain current records of birthdays and anniversaries to be
\nput in the newsletter, arrange, print, and either email or mail the newsletter to all
\nmembers and the webmaster<\/p>\n

Section 9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Webmaster:<\/strong> The Web Master shall keep the web site current by posting the newletter, blub
\nevents, pictures and happenings<\/p>\n

Section 10<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hospitality: <\/strong>The Hospitality Chairperson shall be responsible to see that appropriate cards or gifts
\nare sent to members or families who are ill, have suffered a loss or other serious need at the time.<\/p>\n

Editor:<\/strong> The Editor shall maintain a current listing of the advertisers and have on hand a
\ncamera-ready copy of each add supplied by the advertiser. The Editor shall also keep and
\nmaintain a binder of all parts catalogs, miscellaneous correspondence and newsletters from
\nother clubs to be made available for those current members interested in viewing them.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE V<\/strong> – Finances<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Section 1.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All funds of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon shall be deposited by the Treasurer in
\nthe name of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon in such bank or banks as may be
\ndesignated by the officers.<\/p>\n

Section 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Disbursements shall be only on authorization check, signed by such person(s) as the officers
\nand members may designate.<\/p>\n

Section 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An audit of the books and records of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon shall be
\nmade not less than once a year by a committee of two competent members or such
\nother persons as the President may designate.<\/p>\n

Section 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All records and books of accounts of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon shall be open
\nto inspection by members in good standing at any reasonable time<\/p>\n

ARTICLE VI<\/strong> – Rules of Procedure<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The rules of procedure at all meetings of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon and committees
\nshall be Robert’s Rules of Order, Revised.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE VII<\/strong> – Fiscal Year<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The fiscal year of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon shall be the calendar year.<\/p>\n

ARTICLE VIII<\/strong> – Amendments<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

These By-Laws may be amended or repealed at any annual meeting or other duly called
\nmeeting of the Rollin’ Oldies Car Club of Lebanon by the majority vote of the duly
